Leave A ReviewAre you a neurodivergent academic or professional who's exhausted from trying to keep up? Maybe you're working incredibly hard, but something fundamental feels off and you can't quite put your finger on what needs to change.
I specialise in ADHD coaching and career and leadership coaching for neurodivergent women in academia and demanding professional roles who are ready to transform from being overwhelmed and burnt out to flourishing at work.
You've probably tried many strategies — better time management, productivity apps, wellness routines. But for neurodivergent professionals, these surface solutions miss the underlying challenges. It's about feeling disconnected from yourself when you're constantly trying to fit neurotypical expectations.
My coaching approach recognises what you're experiencing:
This is strategic, action-oriented coaching focused on creating a career that fits who you truly are. Together, we'll:
This is collaborative coaching where you're leading the way, and I'm meeting you where you are to help you get where you want to be.
I'm a late-diagnosed (over 10 years ago) ADHDer who spent over 10 years as a university academic. I know what it's like to work extra hours just to keep up, juggle multiple competing priorities, and to end up in cycles of burnout. I developed chronic fatigue and poor wellbeing because I didn't know what I needed to support my unique brain.
I've been through the transformation. I now understand my neurodivergent brain and have strategies that work with it. This means I can love work again and have energy for what brings me joy.
My approach to coaching combines lived-experience, a portfolio career in education, research and service, including:
My coaching is strengths-based, neuro-affirming, and trauma-informed. I use an evidence-based approach drawing on coaching psychology, positive psychology, behavioural psychology, and systems thinking.
You're ready to take action, but you're experiencing:
I don't give you someone else's roadmap or measures of success. I help you discover your own path from performance to authenticity. As your ADHD coach, I hold the space and manage the complexity with you so you can find a way through the overwhelm and thrive more often.
Contact me to create sustainable success on your own terms — and love your work and life!
FAQ 1 - Question: What makes your coaching approach different?
FAQ 1 - Answer: My coaching is grounded in understanding you as a whole person and systems you work and live — not generic one-size-fits all strategies. As a specialist ADHD coach I also draw on my research background and lived experience as a late-identified ADHDer working in complex demanding environments, I understand the unique challenges high-achieving neurodivergent academics and professionals face.
My ADHD coaching also uses a strengths-led, neuro-affirming, trauma-informed approach that considers how your intersectionality (e.g., gender, age, culture, health status) influence how you experience the world — recognising your brain as a difference, not a deficit. This means the way we approach the pace and structure of the coaching is led by what you need to support your neurodivergence and your whole self, so you can participate in the coaching process with confidence.
We focus on understanding your unique strengths and challenges, which gives you the foundation you need to develop self awareness and build sustainable strategies to succeed on your terms and flourish.
FAQ 2 - Question: Who do you work with?
FAQ 2 - Answer: I specialise in supporting high-achieving neurodivergent women who are academics, professionals or leaders. They may be late-identified, having spent decades being told they are “too sensitive”, “not living up to their potential”, or “brilliant but disorganised or unreliable”. My clients may be experiencing workplace challenges or overwhelmed at work, or seeking professional or personal growth to achieve career goals that align with their strengths and values. I help them gain control over their career and life so they can do impactful work and achieve success on their own terms.
I have this specialisation as it aligns with my lived experience as a late-diagnosed ADHD woman with a portfolio career that includes working in higher education, as a health practitioner, and initially a creative professional. It also aligns with my expertise as a public health and psychology researcher and educator focused on health-care, mental health and wellbeing, ADHD, and complex systems.
You don't have to identify as neurodivergent or a woman.
Anyone who identifies with these challenges and believes they could benefit from my coaching approach is welcome!
FAQ 3 - Question: What can I expect from the coaching process?
FAQ 3 - Answer: I meet you where you are, and support you to get to where you need to be.
Coaching is a partnership between you and your coach. As your coach it’s my role to support your growth and transformation. Unlike therapy coaching is a collaboration where I help you to progress towards your self-identified goals. We are equal partners in the process and you lead the way.
The ultimate goal from coaching is that you finish the coaching partnership feeling confident that you can continue your growth and sustain your progress.
We start by collaborating to clarify your goals and develop awareness of your strengths and challenges. I help you understand your neurotype and how it impacts your work and personal life.
I provide resources and evidence-based information relevant to you. As you develop new self-insight, I support you to identify, create, and implement systems and strategies that move you towards your self-identified goals.
