Leave A ReviewHi, I'm Madelynne Cornish,
I'm a Personal Exploration and Creative Coach.
I work one-on-one with women who sense that something in their life no longer fits.
Perhaps your life feels like it's been turned upside down.
Maybe you've outgrown a part of your life but aren't sure what's next.
Perhaps you're struggling to reconnect with a part of yourself that once felt important.
Or maybe you have an idea you keep returning to but haven't taken the first step.
You might simply feel overwhelmed and need someone to listen and help you think things through.
Whatever brings you here, you don't have to figure it out on your own.
Together, we'll create the opportunity for you to think out loud, explore your questions, and discover what feels true for you.
I'll listen without judgement, ask thoughtful questions and stay with your thinking—not to tell you what to do, but to help you discover what feels right for you. Together we'll untangle what's happening, notice what's getting in the way, and explore what your next step could be.
Life rarely changes because of one conversation.
Change happens over time as we try things, notice what happens, reflect on what we've learned, and keep moving forward.
Coaching gives you somewhere to return to—a place to think things through, make sense of your experiences, and decide what comes next.
Whether you're rediscovering your creativity, navigating a life transition, making a difficult decision, or simply looking for someone who will listen, challenge and support you, we'll work together one conversation at a time.
Why I Work This Way
For more than two decades, my work as an audiovisual artist and Co-founder of the Bogong Centre for Sound Culture has been shaped by listening—listening to people, listening to place, listening to the environment, and listening to what emerges when we slow down and pay attention.
Over the years I've come to realise that deep listening changes the quality of our thinking. When we feel genuinely heard, we begin to hear ourselves differently. We notice things we hadn't seen before. New possibilities emerge. We try something, reflect on what happened, and return to the conversation with new experiences to explore.
That same approach shapes my coaching.
When we slow down, become curious, and give ourselves permission to explore, new possibilities begin to emerge. That's the work we'll do together.
If you're ready to begin that conversation, I'd love to hear from you.

Can coaching help if I'm feeling stuck but can't explain why?
Absolutely. Many clients come to coaching with a feeling that something needs to change, even if they can't yet put it into words. Coaching creates the time and space to explore what's beneath that feeling, gain clarity, and discover what matters most before rushing towards solutions.
How do I know if coaching is right for me?
Coaching is for women who are ready to explore what matters most and take an active role in creating meaningful change. You don't need to have all the answers before you begin. You simply need to be curious, open to reflection, and willing to engage honestly in the coaching process.
Do I need to be a creative person to work with you?
Not at all. While I work with many creative people, creativity isn't just about artistic practice. I see creativity as the ability to think differently, imagine new possibilities, and shape a life that reflects who you are and what matters most. Many clients come to coaching during life transitions when they're looking for a new direction or a more authentic way of living.
